11+ Synonyms app for iPhone and iPad

Boost your child’s Eleven Plus verbal reasoning and vocabulary skills with this new app available for iPhone and iPod touch!

It uses a simple multiple choice format to help children boost their vocabulary strength by testing knowledge of synonyms and antonyms ("similars" and "opposites").

The application contains in excess of 1,000 words including many of which that are typically found in 11+ papers across the country. The list has been built up from studying past and practice papers as well as word lists provided by tutors and teachers.

Having strong vocabulary knowledge is an essential step in performing well on 11+ verbal reasoning papers. This application is focussed on improving a candidates awareness of synonyms and antonyms which in itself will cover two of the more common question types in the papers as well as improving their general vocabulary.

Installing this app on an iPhone or iPod means that valuable revision and preparation can be done anytime and anywhere.

The application structure and format has been designed to be as simple to use as possible. The player simply has to select the number of questions and whether they want to be tested across synonyms or antonyms (or both) before starting the game.
